On her own part, Kofo Olugbesan is also one of the richest women in Lagos. She lives in a sprawling mansion on the exclusive Banana Island.

Kofo is the elder sister of former Lagos Commissioner, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson and owner of British International School, Ms Biodun Laja. The trio are of the same father but different mothers.
