Agbani Darego Shuns Silverbird TV Reporter On Red Carpet

Those who have seen former beauty queen, Agbani Darego, walk the red carpet in any public event will agree that aside from being a beauty to behold, she sure knows how to arrest attention. By the way, she does that well on the runway.

Perhaps if you have witnessed Darego catwalk on the runway then you would know the level of professionalism she puts into it. But that may just be where Darego’s professionalism ends.

Asking the ex-Miss World for an interview or a chat on the red carpet would probably yield no positive response. What you are likely to get from the pretty lady as regards a chat on the red carpet is shun.

At least the very stunning Darego sent this clear message recently. Just a few days ago, the former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria was spotted on the red carpet event of the Arise Africa Fashion Week. But Darego gave a Silverbird television presenter the shock of her life when the presenter approached her for a short interview on the red carpet.

Yemojanews.com learnt instead of stopping on the red carpet for the chat with the TV presenter, Darego simply looked back and said, “ Tell Bruce or Guy to call me”.

She was obviously referring to the Silverbird Group owners, Ben and Guy Bruce. Interestingly, it was Ben Bruce’s Silverbird that shot Agbani Darego to stardom.

 Maybe, the stunning model needs to be reminded that it is standard practice around the world for celebrities to honour or interviews with TV presenters at red carpet events before going into the event proper. And it may be rude to shun such chats.
