Well-loved and hardworking lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa is ill.
A source told yemojanews.com that the former broadcaster turned politician had been down with an unconfirmed ailment for a while and that is why she has been out of circulation in recent times.
Hon. Dabiri-Erewa, who is currently the Chairman, House Committee on Diaspora Affairs, we learnt, has been flown abroad for medical treatment.
Friends and colleagues of Dabiri-Erewa who is the front-runner of the Freedom of Information Bill in the Nigeria National Assembly are praying reverently for her quick recovery.
“I know she has gone abroad for surgery. This is what I will tell you. But let us all pray for her because she needs good health to be able to continue the wonderful work she is doing for the people of Nigeria”, one of her colleagues stated.
