Nigeria pop star, Psquare and singer May D have finally parted ways.
May D, whose real names are Akinmayokun Awodumila, we gathered was at loggerhead with the Square Records label execs over some internal issues.
A source close to the Squareville revealed to yemojanews.com that the singer was not happy while with the label.
“May D is unhappy with his contract with Square Records, he want to have everything to himself. He wants, an exotic car, an apartment in Lekki and other things. He really wants to live like Davido and Wizkid, but Psquare and their management is not ready to give him all that,” our source revealed.
Meanwhile at the early hours of today, August 21, 2012, Square Image Associates, Psquare’s PR company released a press statement notifying the public about this recent development.
